On October 16, Consul General Pan Qingjiang attended the Business Breakfast hosted by the Gauteng Department of Education(GDE). The event was attended by more than 100 people, including Mr. Lebogang Maile, MEC for Education, Sport, Arts, Culture and Recreation of Gauteng Provincial Government, Mr. Albert Chanee, Acting Head of the GDE, and representatives from various social partners.

Mr. Pan and Mr. Maile exchanged views on strengthening bilateral cooperation in the field of education. In his address, Maile extended congratulations on the 77th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, expressed gratitude to the Consulate for its continued support and contributions to education in Gauteng Province. He also presented a certificate of appreciation to the Consulate.
