
On November 24, 2025, Mr. Pan Qingjiang, Consul General of China in Johannesburg, attended the launch ceremony of CJITG International Industrial Cooperation & Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Park. The event was also joined by Mr. Matome Chiloane, MEC for Education, Sports, Arts, Culture and Recreation of Gauteng, Ms. Gadija Brown, Economic Special Advisor to the Deputy President and representatives of various sectors from both China and South Africa.
Mr. Pan said in his speech that the just concluded G20 Summit sent out a strong commitment to multilateralism andcollective work on common challenges, and left distinctive African imprint. Under the strategic guidance of the two heads of state, China and South Africa are working together to advance an all-round strategic cooperative partnership in the new era. China is ready to strengthen alignment with South Africa in development strategies and share its modernization opportunities and dividends with South Africa, bringing our bilateral cooperation to a greater depth. The Consul General hoped that through facilitating youth innovation and entrepreneurship, cultural exchanges and industrial empowerment, Cpark will become a new highlight of China-South Africa cooperation, bringing tangible benefits to the people of both countries.
