On November 13, 2025, Mr. Pan Qingjiang, Consul General of China in Johannesburg, joined Shen Yumou, Director General of the Department of Commerce of Hunan Province and met with Ms. Marie-Louise Moodie, Deputy Director General of the Office of the Premier of Gauteng and Mr. Motlatjo Moholwa, Head of Department of the Gauteng Department of Economic Development. The two sides exchanged views on further deepening the friendly relations and economic and trade cooperation between Hunan and Gauteng.
