On August 28, Mr. Pan Qingjiang, Consul General of China in Johannesburg, attended the "Women's Impact: Innovation & Sustainability in Africa" Conference hosted by the University of Johannesburg and delivered a keynote speech.
In his speech, Consul General Pan briefed on the upcoming Beijing Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC). He said that under the framework of FOCAC, women from China and Africa have written a splendid chapter of shared progress through solidarity and cooperation. He stressed that China and South Africa have been marching ahead together on the journey of advancing the development of women and made remarkable achievements. He expressed that the Consulate General is ready to continue to promote women’s development and cooperation between our two nations, and looks forward to new contributions by women of the China and South Africa to the building of a high-level China-South Africa and China-Africa community with a shared future in the new era.
