On January 20th, the Chinese Consulate General handed over a batch of anti-pandemic supplies to City of Johannesburg, including 30,000 PPE, 10,000 Covid-19 detection reagents and 15 forehead thermometers.

Consul General Tang Zhongdong said that South Africa is suffering the 2nd wave of Covid-19 pandemic. Virus knows no borders. Solidarity and cooperation are the most powerful weapons to defeat the pandemic. This Consulate General will stand with City of Johannesburg to fight against the virus.
